The hood is the reason to choose this one over every other long cardigan. It is deep and generous, so it actually sits over your head instead of collapsing at the back of the neck, and when it is down it gives the shoulders a soft weight that a flat collar never does. Pull it up on the sofa or over a bun on the school run and it works either way.
Everything below it is built for comfort. The body falls open from the shoulder to mid-thigh with nothing to fasten, so it wraps and layers without any fuss. The sleeves drop wide from the shoulder and gather into deep ribbed cuffs that stay put when you push them up your forearms, and the same rib runs along the hem so the length holds its shape rather than curling.
Pick from Blue Green, Orange, Gray, Yellow and Green, in sizes S to 2XL. Our model is 5'8" and wears a size S. It is cut properly oversized, so take your usual size for volume or drop one for a closer line. Hand wash it cold and lay it flat to dry, or have it professionally cleaned, and shake the hood back into shape before it dries.
