Almost sold out
The shaft on this boot is cut long and left unstructured, so it gathers into soft folds down the leg instead of standing straight. That slouch is the whole design, and it reads as a boot you have owned for years from the first day you put it on. Underneath it the heel is flat, which is unusual at this height and the reason the pair gets picked on days with a lot of walking in them.
A full-length side zip runs the shaft, so getting in and out takes a second and the gathered upper is not fighting you at the calf. The toe tapers to a soft almond, narrow enough that the profile sits under a straight-leg jean without bunching at the ankle. The zip is set on the outer side, out of the way of the opposite ankle when you walk.
Black, light brown and red are offered. Sizing runs UK 3.5 to 10, true to size, with a generous fit through the toe box, so there is room across the forefoot for a thicker sock in colder months. Wipe the upper with a soft damp cloth and keep the boots away from direct heat, which dries the folds out and sets them hard. Of the three, red is the one that changes an outfit and the other two do the quiet work.
