The body finishes above the waist, which keeps the volume off the hip and lets the jacket sit over a longer knit, a dress or high-waisted trousers without swamping the outfit. Drop shoulder sleeves fall softly rather than sitting square, and elasticated cuffs stop the sleeve riding up when you push it back. The collar stands high enough to shelter the neck on its own, which saves reaching for a scarf on a short trip out. It is lined throughout, so it pulls on over a jumper cleanly and the fur is kept off the skin.
