The pile is soft and dense — closer to a coat fabric than a knit — and the jacket is fully lined, so it slides over bare arms and fine fabrics without catching on them. It comes in Apricot, Beige and Royal Blue, sizes S to 2XL, cut regular through the shoulder and true to size. Our model is 5'7" and wears a size S. Machine wash it or send it to the dry cleaner; either way the pile keeps its loft better if you let the jacket dry naturally rather than putting it anywhere near direct heat.
