A chunky rib runs the full length of this cardigan, including the wide ribbed placket that frames the open front. There is no closure at all, so it hangs straight and is meant to be worn open over a tee or a slim jumper. Two deep patch pockets sit low on the front, and side splits at the hem let the cardigan move rather than pull when you sit down.
The fit is oversized and true to size, with a generous cut through the body and the sleeves, so size down if you want it closer to the frame. Long sleeves are set on a drop shoulder and finish in a ribbed cuff, which stops them stretching out at the wrist. It is hip length, so it layers over jeans and midi skirts without cutting the line awkwardly. The splits also mean the two front panels hang independently, so the cardigan drapes instead of bunching at the hips.
