A 600W heater that plugs straight into a wall socket with no cable, no stand and nothing on the floor. It suits the rooms where a conventional heater is a nuisance — a small bathroom, a hallway, a landing, a caravan or a nursery where a trailing lead is not an option. The remote means you can turn it on from the bed or the sofa without getting up.

Because it hangs at socket height it warms the air as it rises, which takes the edge off a cold room faster than a floor-standing unit of the same wattage. It is not a replacement for central heating in a large lounge, but for a small enclosed space it works quickly.
