A concertina drying rack that pulls out to 126 cm along the wall and folds back to 12 cm deep. It fixes with a suction mount rather than screws, which is the whole point: it goes on bathroom tiles, a shower screen or a glazed balcony panel without putting a single hole in anything. Where it will and will not hold

The mount needs a smooth, non-porous surface — glazed tile, glass, a sealed worktop splashback. It will not hold on painted plaster, textured tile, brick or wallpaper. Clean and dry the surface before fitting, and load it evenly rather than hanging everything from the far end.

Care

Re-seat the suction mount every few weeks; suction relaxes over time, especially in a room that heats and cools. Wipe the rods before hanging anything pale.
